A medical doctor practising in both Brazil and Portugal, specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
With over 15 years of experience in hospital and outpatient medicine, she has worked in inpatient wards, intensive care units, emergency departments, haemodialysis and private practice, developing a broad and integrated view of patient care.
Her practice combines the principles of Internal Medicine with Lifestyle Medicine and Functional Medicine, uniting evidence-based medicine with a personalised approach, focused on the management of chronic disease, on prevention and, above all, on the promotion of health and quality of life.
She is currently deepening her studies in genetics and metabolomics, fields that represent important pillars of precision medicine and contribute to an increasingly individualised approach to care.
She believes medicine should go beyond treating disease, valuing the early identification of risk factors, health education and the building of personalised strategies that allow patients to live with greater health and autonomy.
She has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams and in communicating complex medical topics in a clear and accessible way, enabling each patient to better understand their health and take an active part in decisions about their care.tion
